Nursery (sneak peek!)

This was the same rocking chair Nana used when I was a baby! I painted it and recovered the cushions.

These jars were leftovers from the church garage sale a few years ago. I scrubbed them up and painted the lids white.

 My good friend, Meghan, made this

 Your Papa Tom made these bookshelves, I painted them then he and your daddy hung them 

I love the design of the curtains

 Kari pointed out that the chair, crib, lamp curtains, and placement of the picture frames (photos not included) are all the same organic shape

Bump 21 Weeks

How far along: 21 weeks & 4 days
Total weight gain/loss: 10 (120 to 130)

Maternity clothes: BellaBand, long shirts, and some maternity shirts 

Have you started to show yet: Yes, this is the first week that people have started saying, "you have a bump!"
Stretch marks: Nope
Sleep: Great! I'm still not waking up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, which is great!

Food cravings: Nothing really this week 
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope!
Best moment(s) this week: Painting the nursery, getting the dresser assembled, and in the closet (pictures below)

Worst moment(s) this week: Having to wear the event card and finding shirts that are not only long enough but that are high enough to cover one of the little electrodes on my chest

Miss Anything: Wine!
Movement: Yes and lots of it! I felt hiccups one morning while laying in bed!
Belly Button in or out: In, and very shallow!
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!
Weekly Wisdom: Try to go swimming! You'll be amazed at how heavy your belly feels once you get out of the pool 

Looking forward to: Your daddy putting the crib together!

Nursery Paint Colors

After sleeping in, and eating my breakfast I went into the nursery with my cup of tea and started to pick out colors!

I of course had my helper (such a mama's boy)

Nursery Dream Board

I am very much a planner, and a list maker! I become very anxious when I have a big task (like preparing for a baby!) and don't write down every little detail that needs to get accomplished along with timeframes.

So to help with some of this anxious energy I created a "Nursery Dream Board" in order to visualize all of the bigger items in one spot. This way I'm able to see how they would all look together. I'm pretty happy with my items and colors so far. 

Next on the agenda - type out the ever growing mental checklist!
